The Chiefs still await a resolution on second-year WR Rashee Rice’s potential suspension following the car crash in Dallas he caused at the end of March.
It’s expected that Rice will be suspended eventually, though it’s unclear whether that suspension will come in the 2024-25 season or later as the legal proceedings are ongoing. One point of comparison could be Steelers’ CB Cameron Sutton,There is not a direct one-to-one comparison between Sutton and Rice. Sutton turned himself in after a warrant was issued for an alleged domestic violence incident in March and entered a pretrial diversion program on misdemeanor battery charges.
