The apparent strained division following Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus’ divorce comes after Tish “stole” the Prison Break star from her estranged daughter, Noah, 24.
An insider told the Daily Mail last week that Noah was seeing Dominic “when Tish started pursuing him.”
The source added Tish, 56, “was aware” of Noah’s involvement when she began to contact the Australian actor.
They added that the “turmoil” between Noah and her mother goes “far beyond” what is known to the public. “Noah is very distraught” over her mother “stealing Dominic from her.”
Then, another report surfaced which claimed Noah apparently “never dated” Purcell, 54. Another source close to the family told Daily Mail that was all a lie to twist the family feud in Noah’s favor.
The singer is now being accused by family insiders of “fabricating” a relationship with the actor in order to “paint herself as the victim” in her ongoing feud with her mom.
Another source told the publication that the “ludicrous” story has only further complicated the already difficult dynamic between the two of them.
The source says Noah has always felt that her mother “favors Miley” most of the six kids.
An episode of the podcast that Tish hosts with her eldest daughter, Brandi, further insinuates there was jealousy between Noah and Miley.
Tish said both Noah and Miley would try to get her to admit they were her favorite in the February episode. Meanwhile, Brandi would tell her mom, “‘We know who your favorite is.’ You,” Tish finishes, pointing to Brandi.
However, the insider who spoke with the publication claims Noah has always “craved” her mother’s attention because she didn’t receive it growing up.
“Tish was always so Miley-sided because that is where the money was,” the source added of the close, sister-like dynamic Miley has with her mother that Noah is apparently envious of.
I’m Not Sorry, Really
On Friday (March 1), a source alleged to People magazine that Noah and Dominic had a “friends with benefits” type of relationship and that after they broke things off.
Tish then pursued the actor without running it past her daughter first.
The insider said, “Tish knew he had been seeing Noah” and never gave her daughter the chance to talk about it before they got married.
In the latest development, there are now reports that Miley had “no idea” about the alleged “drama” surrounding Dominic’s past relationship with Noah.
A source told People that the Grammy winner has since apparently “confronted her mom” about the “strange situation.”
