Bryson “appeared safe and well,” per police. Both of his parents, Daniel and Kristin Muir, have now been taken into custody in connection with the case.
Daniel, 40, is charged with one count each of obstruction of justice and domestic battery. Kristin, 38, is charged with obstruction of justice.
Investigators previously visited the home and spoke with Daniel, a former NFL defensive lineman, and Kristin about the teen’s whereabouts. Initially, they showed “signs of cooperation,” according to state police, and agreed to bring Bryson to meet with investigators on Friday, June 28. However, the couple allegedly “backed out of that arrangement, which signaled an unwillingness to cooperate,” per state police.
