Céline Dion is giving hope to millions of fans around the world that she may one day be back on stage.
The Quebec icon and global superstar says she remains determined to perform again “and to live as normal of a life as possible.”
The message of hope, captioning a photo of herself with her three sons, was part of an update on her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome, which she revealed in the fall of 2022.The syndrome causes severe and persistent muscle spasms that prevent her from performing.
“Trying to overcome this autoimmune disorder has been one of the hardest experiences of my life,” she wrote.
“I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team and all of you!”
