Jonathan Owens had one of the most dramatic outings for the Chicago Bears.
Donning the Bears’ jersey for the first time this season, Owens had a tough game ahead of him against the Titans.
While the Bears won the game 24-17, an iconic Jonathan Owens moment left everybody in shock including Simone Biles.
In an attempt to go on the offense, the Titans got their punt blocked by the Bears defensive lineman, Daniel Hardy.
Lurking around the corner like a hungry lion was Jonathan Owens, who scooped it up, ran at a blazing speed, and scored an all-important touchdown.
As the commentators stretched their lungs to announce, “Jonathan Owens welcome to Chicago”, his Olympic gold medalist wife, Simone Biles freaked out.
Reacting to Biles’ feeling, right after he had his insane Bears moment, Owens sat down on the ‘Sippin’ with Screeden’ podcast recently.
Owens mentioned that after the initial adrenaline subsided, he remembered his wife.
However, while the new hero of Bears thought he would find his wife in utter shock, Biles seemed to have composed herself by the time the game was over.
Owens said, “This is crazy, so I’m on the field, and maybe like 10 minutes later I finally come back to it and I’m like shoot Simone’s probably freaking out.
So yeah, she’s good though, she was getting her hair done, so I’m glad she didn’t like to get some hair pulled out or something you know, and start screaming.”
Well, despite not showing a lot of emotions in front of Owens, Simone Biles had a wild moment witnessing her husband make history.
Biles shared the iconic video on her social media and stated, “I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK.” This was a role reversal for the couple as just a month prior, it was Jonathan Owens getting the chills watching Simone Biles rake up Olympic gold medals for fun.
Owens was so committed to watching Biles live in Paris, that he took a sly approach to get his leaves approved by the Chicago Bears.
