Suggs, 41, was also arrested back in 2016 for driving with a suspended license, police said at the time.
He was allegedly involved in a car accident and fled the scene, before being taken to Scottsdale City Jail and later being released.After spending most of his career with the Ravens, Suggs last played in 2020 for the Chiefs.
Suggs played an impressive 17 years in the NFL, earning seven Pro Bowl selections.He was a lynchpin of the Baltimore defense and won Super Bowl XLVII with the team in 2013.
Suggs later joined the Chiefs in his final season, after playing for the Cardinals the same year, and won Super Bowl LIV.
