The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, already has a clear objective, and his mission is to bring the Super Bowl to England, which would be the first edition of the big game to be played outside the United States.
In an interview with The New York Times, Khan said his goal is to bring Londoners and English people closer to the excitement of the NFL, which can be experienced in other places as well as on American soil.”The Super Bowl is really important for us. We have a number of American football games and I want it to come here because we want American sports fans in Europe to come to London to watch them, not just go to America,” Khan said.
