Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress and founder of Goop, is reportedly making an effort to connect her son Brody with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s daughter, Violet Affleck.

As both young adults embark on their college journeys at Yale University, Paltrow sees an opportunity for them to support each other, given their unique experience of having famous parents.

The relationship between Paltrow and Affleck has long since ended, with the two having dated from 1997 to 2000.

However, it appears there is no lingering tension between the former couple, and Paltrow is focusing on ensuring that her son, Brody, has a solid support system as he navigates this new chapter of his life.

For those unfamiliar, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck were once one of Hollywood’s hottest couples.

Their relationship began in the late 1990s, around the time Affleck and Matt Damon won an Academy Award for their screenplay for Good Will Hunting.

The two met on the set of Shakespeare in Love, which earned Paltrow an Oscar for Best Actress, and while their romance was high-profile, it ultimately ended in 2000.

Following their split, Paltrow married Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares two children: Apple and Brody.

Ben Affleck, meanwhile, went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he has three children, including Violet.

Despite their relationship ending more than two decades ago, Paltrow and Affleck appear to remain on friendly terms, and Paltrow’s latest gesture demonstrates her willingness to ensure that the children of her peers are well-supported, especially in an environment like Yale.

As any parent would, Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly concerned about her son’s transition into college life.
