King Charles, Queen Camilla forced to make big decision over bitter past

King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to sit out Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor, wedding with Olivia Henson next month.

According to Richard Eden for the Daily Mail, the King and Queen Consort are still sour from the glaring snub at the duke’s sister, Lady Tamara Grosvenor’s wedding with Edward van Cutsem, in 2004.For the unversed, the monarchs chose to turn down their invitations for the nuptials at Chester Cathedral after learning Camilla, who was not yet married to then-Prince Charles at the time, will be seated several rows back at the event.

In the end, the ceremony was only attended by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, alongside Prince William and Harry.

“Their Majesties have not forgotten what happened at the wedding of Hugh’s sister,” a source told Eden. “There is still a lot of tension that exists.”

Moreover, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also expected to skip the wedding in a bid to avoid awkward run-in with Prince William, and presumably his wife, Kate Middleton.
