Now, a few months after the release of the album, sources close to the 1975 frontman are sharing how he’s reacting to it all.

“He loves the attention it’s brought to him, [but] he also thinks it’s hilarious because at no time [were they] ever serious,” the US weekly insider said, adding that he was also “completely blindsided” by some of the album’s “lyrical content.”In fact, in the tracks, Swift suggests that the two were quite serious, having talks about getting married and even having kids together. “You s–- talked me under the table, talking rings and talking cradles,” she sings on “Loml.”

According to Healy, however, those conversations were never on the table. “For her to be saying things about baby carriages … and living together — he says it had never even come up,” the friend continued. “He’s taking it in stride.”
