News in: Jordan Phillips fires back at Jason Kelce: He’s a guy who suddenly has a voice because of his brother’s podcast
Phillips responded to Kelce’s comment and didn’t seem to have too much respect for the Eagle star.Kelce met with ESPN and Fox Sports to discuss a potential job in TV. Already the co-host of a very successful podcast, it would be easy for Kelce to slip out of his uniform and into life as a broadcaster – if that’s what he wants to do.He could also opt to do something like Peyton and Eli Manning, who host several shows for ESPN. With rumors of his potential retirement growing louder, one of his teammates believes Kelce will ultimately walk away from the game.
“There’s no shot! You’re telling me, he’s going shirt off at the game, gambling in the casinos, he’s coming back?” Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata questioned. “No way. He’s having too much fun. He’s out there living his life. I’m going to miss him for sure. This has been the greatest six years of my life, for sure, being here in the NFL.
