NFL fans fume as Peacock lands exclusive broadcast rights to Week 1 game between the Packers and Eagles in Brazil: ‘All about the money and no care for us’But the only way to watch the game if you live outside the Green Bay and Philadelphia markets will be on Peacock.FL PR representative Brian McCarthy tweeted that local markets will be carrying the game on free, over-the-air broadcast television – but that everywhere else will need the streaming service to watch it.
Fans took to social media and were furious over the announcement.
‘F**k the fans without Peacock I guess,’ wrote one account. ‘The true absurdity to having exclusive games astounds me. All about the money and no care for the fans.’
‘The NFL insisting on bullying everyone into getting Peacock network is so annoying,’ another wrote.
