Pete Davidson’s reckless driving case has been dismissed after he completed a diversion program approximately six months ahead of a California judge’s deadline.

In order to get the single misdemeanor charge scrubbed from his record, the 30-year-old comedian completed ’50 hours of community service, a safe driving course and visit both a hospital and morgue to confront the fatal consequences of risky choices.’

His lawyer, Mike Cavalluzzi, appeared on his behalf over the phone to confirm that he completed Los Angeles County Judge Alexander C.D. Giza’s orders.

As for Davidson’s absence from court, Rolling Stone confirmed that Cavalluzzi stated his client resides in New York.

Cavalluzzi noted that Davidson ‘completed a Mothers Against Drunk Driving victim impact program in place of the Los Angeles County Hospitals and Morgue program.’

Upon hearing that the terms of the SNL star’s diversion were successfully completed, Giza ‘dismissed’ the matter.

Last June, he was officially charged with reckless driving after crashing his Mercedes into a Beverly Hills home.

Davidson was driving the vehicle through the Flats neighborhood of Beverley Hills on Saturday March 4 around 11pm at ‘high speed’ when he lost control of the car.

His then-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders was also in the vehicle.

The Mercedes jumped the curb and hit a fire hydrant before it crashed into the side of a nearby house, law enforcement said.
