Prince Harry is expanding his support for the injured and retired veterans beyond outskirts of Africa.
According to the Mirror, the Duke of Sussex was introduced to plans for the innovative new Invictus Centre during his recent trip to Nigeria alongside wife Meghan Markle.The prospective project aims to focus on offering physical and mental rehabilitation for injured service personnel, as per the outlet.
During his speech at the centre, Harry expressed gratitude to their gracious hosts for presenting the Sussexes with Nigerian traditional clothing.
He then went on to reflect on the plans for the new centre, noting it gave him “goosebumps,” according to People.
The Spare author said: “And that is what the new centre you’re building is all about. Seeing the plans for the new Invictus Centre gives me goosebumps!”
Harry also commended the resilience of the wounded service personnel present at the event, praising them for not being “defined by their injuries.”
