During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, Oct. 6, the “Fate of Ophelia” singer, 35, excitedly showed off her engagement ring to host Jimmy Fallon.
When Fallon, 51, quipped that he was being “blinded” by Swift’s new jewelry, she agreed, “It’s crazy, that’s crazy,” while looking at her ring.
Swift — who shared the news of her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce on Aug. 26 — went on to tell Fallon that her now fiancé, 36, “custom-designed [her ring] with this amazing jeweler.”
And she’s clearly a fan of Kelce’s design as she then gushed, “I look at it constantly, it doesn’t feel in any way normal for me, I’m still like, ‘Oh man, wow!’ ”
The pop star revealed that as much as she loved the ring itself, the significance of it and what it “represents” was equally important.
“Because he’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met,” she told Fallon of Kelce, adding “no offense to everyone else I’ve ever met.”
During promotional interviews for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, Swift displayed her ring several times, the first being during filming of an episode of The Graham Norton Show, which aired in the U.K., on Friday, Oct. 3. When the host complimented Swift’s ring, she joked she’d had a “hardware upgrade.”
