“It is so amazing that we can have these conversations as if someone has a sickness or illness that they are getting treatment for. We don’t blame someone for their physical health, but we put a personal onus or pressure on mental health.”Mental health is more than the absence of mental disorders. It exists on a complex continuum, which is experienced differently from one person to the next, with varying degrees of difficulty and distress and potentially very different social and clinical outcomes.”
Experts say that anyone can seek help for mental health and that people do not need to wait until they are suffering in order to seek mental health treatment.
