Travis Kelce is still in disbelief that he will be making his acting debut especially with someone like acclaimed director Ryan Murphy.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about his experience on the set of Murphy’s Grotesquerie.“It’s been so much fun,” Kelce said on his News Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.

“Ryan Murphy is [an] unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above, man. He’s just — there’s nothing he can’t do and everybody’s just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable.”

The NFL player added “Even on top of that, just giving me kinda the direction I need and the coaching I need to portray the part that I’m in.”

Kelce also realised how different it is to see the acting world from the outside and then experiencing it himself.

He explained that he would focus on memorising his lines instead of tuned into the scenes and take it “from one point to the next.”

“I was kinda blown away and kinda, like, shocked that he was willing to give me a role like this, because it is a big role on the show,” he said of Murphy.
